Here at Aroha Iti Frenchies we are a small scale breeder, all our dogs are part of the family and live in our home.

I am very excited to be the first in New Zealand to join the DVL2 elimination program. With our 2 single copy DVL2 Puppies we have brought over from Aussie. We are also breeding for open nares (nostrils).

The DVL2 program is part of the MDBA genetic action plan for French Bulldogs, this will be a massive benefit to the future health of French Bulldogs, this affects spine (Zero Hemis) also potentially breathing and other benefits.

Meet our little loves

All our breeding dogs are Xrayed, trachea, spine and hips. We will also be doing Respiratory function grading (RFG test) this is a test used to show how well they breathe.

All our dogs are also DNA tested 5 panel clear and also tested free of ADAMTS3 (Airways Odema). Also, measurements are done for NCR & CFR.

My goal as a breeder is to breed healthy Frenchies with no back or breathing problems, and do the best for them which they deserve.

All Puppies come with MDBA papers, first vaccination, microchipped & wormed.
